Last week, all classes had a visit from Rosie Campbell and Animal Magic. We saw a hedgehog, a rabbit, a skunk, snakes and lizards. We stroked and held the animals and learned lots about each one. Rosie spoke to the children about the wild animals and birds, their habitat and lifestyle. Rosie runs an animal rescue centre in Killmallock and her aim is to conserve our natural heritage of wild creatures and their habitats through education, captive breeding, rescue, care and rehabilitation. Through her work in in animal rescue and rehabilitation, Rosie has accumulated a large collection of animals and birds.
